A Not So Merry Christmas Murder - Part 1

It was a dark and stormy night. The sound of thunder rumbled through the Mount Bedford mansion and rain poured down in droves. It was Christmas Eve, but no one could remember a stormier Christmas. In spite of the weather Samantha had convinced Grandmary to still hold their annual Christmas Eve party, and the first soaking wet guests were starting to trickle in.

Hot cocoa and petite fours were served, and all the guests were mingling about the house. Agnes and Agatha had arrived, and they were playing an intense game of old maid with Nellie and Samantha, when Samantha excused herself to get more hot cocoa.

Samantha didn't return. Nellie left Anges and Agatha to play by themselves while she searched for Samantha. She went through the kitchen, dining room, and foyer just seeing party guests, it wasn't until she heard a scream from the parlor that she found her.

And even then, it was just her corpse.

to be continued...........
